Breathwork Intensive: Three Sessions in August

Pranayama is perhaps the most underestimated healing tool in the yoga tradition. In three concentrated Saturday sessions this August, we will go beyond the basics — into the transformative territory of advanced breathwork and somatic release.

The power of the breath

The breath is the only autonomic function we can consciously control. That single fact gives us a direct pathway into the nervous system, the hormonal system, and the emotional body — a leverage point that very few other practices offer.

Programme structure

Session 1 (6th August): Foundations — mapping your breath, releasing restriction, establishing a conscious pranayama practice. Session 2 (13th August): Expanding capacity — extended retention, Kumbhaka, and somatic integration. Session 3 (20th August): Advanced techniques — Bhramari, Sitali, Surya Bhedana, and personal practice design.

What makes this different

This is not a workshop — it is an intensive. We limit participation to eight people so that each person receives individual attention and personalised guidance. Each session runs for three hours. The practices are taught incrementally, with space between sessions for integration.

Eligibility and registration

No prior pranayama experience is required, but participants must be comfortable with basic yoga. This intensive is not suitable during pregnancy or for people with unmanaged cardiovascular conditions. Investment: ₹4,500 for all three sessions.
